Poets Of The Early Tang Dynasty

Flamboyant poets.

The early Tang Dynasty was the preparation period for Tang poetry. The main poets were Wang Bo (王勃), Yang Jiong (楊炯), Lu Zhaolin (盧照鄰) and Luo Binwang (駱賓王), who were known as the Four Great Masters of the Early Tang Dynasty. In addition, there were court poets Shen Qiqi (沈佺期) and Song Zhiwen (宋之問), whose poetic style is graceful and beautiful.

Chen Ziang (陳子昂) opposed the literary style of the Six Dynasties and pursued the style of the Han and Wei Dynasties, which had a certain influence on the style of poetry at that time.
