Beautiful Tang Poetry

Tang poetry is the star of Chinese literature.

Tang poetry generally refers to the poems created in the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD), and can also be refer to the poems created in the style of the Tang Dynasty. Tang poetry is inherited from the poetry of Weiin Southern and Northern Dynasties, and deeply influenced the subsequent Song poetry. The Tang Dynasty is also regarded as the golden period of the most prosperous development of poetry in China. Tang poetry and Song poetry have very high value in the history of Chinese literature.

After the Tang Dynasty, there have been many collections of Tang poems, the most widely circulated today is "Three Hundred Poems of Tang Poems"(唐詩三百首) . The "Complete Tang Poems" (全唐詩) compiled during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty collected more than 50,000 Tang poems by more than 2,200 poets.
